Studio Privacy

1. Scope

This privacy policy applies exclusively to the LinkTec Studio software. For processing related to the brochure website and client area, please refer to our general privacy policy.

2. Data Controller and Data Processing

2.1 Account Data

For account data (email, name, billing information), LinkTec acts as the data controller within the meaning of Article 4(7) GDPR.

2.2 Client Business Data

For business data that the Client integrates into Studio (content, Client's own customer data, files), LinkTec acts as a data processor within the meaning of Article 28 GDPR. The Client remains the data controller for their own business data.

Note: the precise qualification of this processing arrangement will be formalised upon the release of the final version of Studio. A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) may be concluded upon request with enterprise clients.

3. Data Collected

  • Account data: name, surname, email address, password (encrypted — bcrypt), billing information
  • Usage data: connection logs, actions within the interface (for debugging and improvement purposes)
  • Client business data: any content entered, imported or generated by the User in Studio

4. Legal Bases

  • Account and billing data: performance of a contract — Art. 6.1(b) GDPR
  • Usage data (logs): legitimate interest (security and service improvement) — Art. 6.1(f)
  • Client business data: performance of a contract (data processing) — Art. 6.1(b) and Art. 28

5. Data Retention

  • Account data: duration of subscription + 30 days (export period)
  • Client business data: duration of subscription + 90 days (post-cancellation deletion)
  • Billing data: 10 years (accounting obligation)
  • Connection logs: 1 year

6. Technical Sub-Processors

  • OVHcloud (SAS, Roubaix, France) — hosting, databases, backups. Data stored in France / EU.
  • Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd, Dublin, Ireland) — credit card payments. Transfers to the US governed by SCCs.

7. Transfers Outside the EU

International transfers are the same as those described in our general privacy policy (Section 8).

8. Security

Security measures implemented for Studio:

  • HTTPS connection (SSL/TLS certificate)
  • Encrypted passwords (bcrypt)
  • Data isolation between users
  • Regular encrypted backups
  • CSRF protection and input validation
  • Hosting in France (OVHcloud, Roubaix datacentre)

9. User Rights

You have the same rights as those described in our general privacy policy (Sections 10 and 11): access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, post-mortem directives.

10. DPA (Data Processing Agreement)

Enterprise clients wishing to formalise the data processing arrangement in accordance with Article 28 GDPR may request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) by contacting contact@bn-linktec.fr.
